Let art enter the urban space, let sculpture integrate into public life. On May 8, 2021, the sculpture exhibition of the 2021 public art season of "Dongyi Yuanfang" was officially opened.
In order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and in order to better promote the integration and development of cultural undertakings and cultural industries, Dongyi International Media Industrial Park, together with the Sculpture Professional Committee of the China Arts and Crafts Society, held the "Dongyi Yuanfang" 2021 Public Art Season from May 8, 2021 to February 15, 2022.
Wang Shiming, former deputy director of the Central Propaganda Department and deputy director of the Culture, Literature, History and Study Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Chen Dong, director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Liu Fang, deputy director of the Beijing Chaoyang District Culture and Tourism Bureau, Liu Lulu, deputy director of the Management Committee of the National Cultural Industry Innovation Experimental Zone, Liu Hong, member of the Organization Committee of Gaobeidian Township, Chaoyang District, Beijing, Gao Yunhan, deputy township chief of Gaobeidian Township, and members of the Gaojing Village team of Gaobeidian Township attended the event.

Mr. Sheng Yang, former Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and Honorary Director of the Sculpture Art Committee of the China Artists Association, sent a message to young and middle-aged artists: "The creation of the best art that represents this new era should be in the hands of Chinese artists. ”
Mr. Tang Yao, a well-known theorist and academic host of this exhibition, finally made a concluding speech, he believes that the "Dongyi Yuanfang" public art season is a successful case of public art, and hopes to use this platform to make public art intervene in urban space to be more fully presented and displayed.

At the "Dongyi Yuanfang" Public Art Season Forum, more than 20 artists and art theorists discussed the theme of "Public Art Development in the Context of Urban Cultural Upgrading in the New Era".
