Wearing the "Hubei refueling" badge to participate in international competitions, Snooker professional player Mei Xiwen supported the fight against the epidemic in his hometown

Hubei Daily News (correspondents Guo Chu and Sheng Lei) As the only Hubei player in the snooker professional competition, Mei Xiwen expressed his solidarity with the fight against the epidemic in his hometown in his own way. In late February, after the Welsh Open, Mei Xiwen customized the badge printed with "Hubei Refueling" and "Macheng Refueling" and wore it in the single-time limited time competition, which was supported by WST.

Mei Xiwen was born in 1982 in Macheng, Hubei Province, and is currently the only Hubei player in the Chinese Snooker Army. Mei Xiwen has been exposed to billiards since he was eight or nine years old, and the enlightenment coach is his father.

Mei Xiwen lived in Macheng until the age of 17, then moved to Wuhan for the next two years. Hubei and Macheng have extremely deep feelings for Mei Xiwen. In the 2002 Second National Sports Conference, he represented Hubei and won the fourth place in the snooker individual competition. In 2009, he won the snooker Central Tour Year-End Finals.

Since the start of the Welsh Open, many Chinese players have worn badges emblazoned with the words "Hubei Refueling". The number of badges made in the first batch is small, and Chinese players will take turns wearing them, and a few small badges will circulate on the chests of more than a dozen Chinese players.

After returning to the station, Mei Xiwen asked someone to specially make a "Hubei refueling" and "Macheng refueling" badge. On February 23, Mehivan had already advanced to the round of 32 in a single-time limited time event.
