Sun Xueni landscape paintings
Sun Xueni (1889~1965) was a pillow resident. A native of Tinglin, Jinshan, Jiangsu (now part of Shanghai). He was a painter at the Shanghai Academy of Chinese Painting, and founded the Shengsheng Art Company in Shanghai before liberation, which has a good reputation. "Vegetables and Plum Blossoms" was selected for the Second National Chinese Painting Exhibition in 1956; "Good Agricultural Affairs in the Western Suburbs" was selected for the 1960 National Fine Arts Exhibition; "Fishery Harvest" was published in the "Shanghai Chinese Painting Anthology"; "Return from the Vegetable Market" was published in the "Shanghai Flower and Bird Painting Selection".
