However, during the Republic of China period, a group of literati turned into cultural traitors at the time of the country's life and death, and among them, including the famous Zhou Zuoren and Hu Lancheng, all of whom were provided for under the command of Lin Baisheng, the propaganda minister of the Wang puppet government, and used pen and ink to grease and powder the Japanese invaders.
As the leader of Lin Baisheng, he was also one of the three talents of Lingnan University, and when he was in school, he was very radical and active, often giving speeches among his classmates to praise the revolution, and he was also expelled from the school for actively participating in the strike activities.

But the students knew of their ruse and conspiracy to smash the tobacco house to pieces, so the Japanese intervened, and Lin Baisheng quickly stopped this movement, restored the tobacco monopoly license, and later set up a license to sell cigarettes.
From a hot-blooded young man to using the blood of the new generation of young people to amass wealth for himself, Lin Baisheng's great transformation may not be able to bear the praise of firm will, and the only thing Lin Baisheng is determined to do in this life is to follow Wang Jingwei, including the smoking ban he is proud of, which is nothing more than a posing.
After being expelled from Lingnan University, Lin Baisheng was recommended by others to be appointed as Wang Jingwei's secretary, and since then he has been following Wang Jingwei around, gradually becoming Wang Jingwei's close confidant, recognizing Wang Jingwei's wife Chen Bijun as a dry mother; Wang Jingwei also had a green eye for him, sent him to study in the Soviet Union, and became a high-ranking official in the Wang puppet government, and Wang Jingwei was in all the activities of surrendering to Japan and betraying the country.

Therefore, he wrote his last words to write: "Spring to spring has a time, flowers blossom and fall endlessly, life metabolism is also the same, killing oneself into benevolence and what he says", people are not willing to face what they have done, they still have to rationalize their own death into righteousness, and their guilt is "decent"; when he went to the execution ground, he asked not to be tied, and it can also be seen from the photos of serving his sentence that there was no trace of panic in his demeanor, and he did not want to lose the decency obtained by exhausting his means of "curve patriotism".
It's just that it's too late to want a real decency when you're dying. When Lin Baisheng walked to the corner of the execution wall, the bailiff fired a shot at his head spoon, and he immediately turned and lay down on the ground, the blood in his mouth spurting outward, constantly roaring; five minutes later, seeing that he was still out of breath, the bailiff fired another shot at his forehead, and the brain plasma splashed, but there was still breathing, which lasted for a quarter of an hour before he was killed.
Lin Baisheng himself certainly could not have imagined that the decent life he wanted would eventually end in twenty minutes of embarrassment, and when he really paid the price of his life for his actions, he would not be able to take care of anything decent, only a cry of pain.
His life has had countless twenty minutes, twenty minutes of studying abroad, twenty minutes of smoking bans, twenty minutes of drafting "Yandian", twenty minutes of being a Japanese puppet, twenty minutes of preaching the "New Order in East Asia"...
Lin Baisheng wanted to maintain a decent face all his life until his death, so he wanted to exchange so many twenty minutes in the past for the last twenty minutes of the most decent, but the evil flowers could not bear good results, and the decency that was exchanged for the hardships of the country, the nation, and the people was nothing more than a bunch of vain bubbles.
When the country is subjected to enslavement and aggression, it is naïve and stupid to pretend to be aggrieved and steal life, betray the country and seek glory to preserve its dignity, and the tragedy of Lin Baisheng's fate is nothing more than self-inflicted.
