Wuhan City has arranged for September 17 to celebrate the old secretary's ninetieth birthday. In 2005, the old secretary Wang Qun learned of Professor Liu Yongding's story of sand control, was very excited, and despite the 80-year-old age, he ran around and mobilized the Wuhan Municipal Science and Technology Bureau and wuhan Gaonong Group to invest 10 million yuan in advance to support Professor Liu Yongding and the Inner Mongolia Academy of Forestry to build the Shasheng Botanical Garden; and promoted the Inner Mongolia Development and Reform Commission, the Science and Technology Department, the Forestry Department, the Agriculture Department, and the Transportation Department to increase support for the Shasheng Botanical Garden. A new era of "Yugong Moving Mountains" project quietly kicked off in the Kubuqi Desert.
After 10 years, has the desert algae control project in Dalat Banner achieved substantial results? This is also an issue that the old secretary of Wang Qun is very concerned about. At 8:30 a.m. on September 8, two Coasters carrying wang Qunlao, experts from the Inner Mongolia Forestry Department and the Academy of Forestry Sciences, and the work class of the Wuhan Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the Three Gorges Group, the Gaonong Group, the Sante Group, and the Financial Holdings Group went straight to the test base of Dalat Banner.
The climate of Inner Mongolia and Wuhan is slightly different, with high and cool autumn and low clouds. From Hohhot city to Dalat Banner's Shasheng Botanical Garden is more than 3 hours by car. I vaguely felt that in the blueprint of the old secretary, the 3,000-acre Shasheng Botanical Garden is not just an oasis embedded in the Kubuqi Desert, but also has to be continuously expanded and promoted, from the Kubuqi Desert to Alxa, Taklamakan, along the Silk Road, all the way to the west.
