歌曲背景
"imagine" is a song by english rock musician john lennon from his 1971 album of the same name. the best-selling single of his solo career, its lyrics encourage listeners to imagine a world at peace without the barriers of borders or the divisions of religion and nationality and to consider the possibility that the whole of humanity would live unattached to material possessions. shortly before his death, lennon said that much of the song's lyrics and content came from his wife, yoko ono, and in 2017 she received co-writing credit.[2]

《想象》（英語：imagine）是前披頭士/甲殼蟲樂隊主唱約翰·列侬創作并演奏的歌曲，是他獨唱生涯最佳銷售單曲。歌詞鼓勵聽衆去想象一個沒有宗教派别、民族界限造成的戰火與隔閡的世界，并且讨論了人們生活在更少物質财富世界的可能性。

2014年11月，聯合國兒童基金會發起了全球傳唱約翰•列侬經典歌曲《imagine》的活動，以紀念《兒童權利公約》誕生25周年。
2016年9月23日，在第71屆聯合國大會期間，聯合國兒童基金會向全球釋出了新版的《imagine》音樂視訊。
來自超過140個國家的數千名普通人與聯合國秘書長潘基文、聯合國兒童基金會大使凱蒂·佩裡、夏奇拉、樸雅卡·喬普拉、金妍兒、内馬爾、保羅·加索爾等知名人士參與了新版《imagine》音樂視訊的錄制，其中也包括國際空間站的宇航員。視訊最後發出呼籲，為全球5000萬名背井離鄉的難民和移民兒童尋求支援。
同時聯合國兒童基金會也釋出了imagine中文版《請你聽我說》，有興趣的可以在網上搜一下。
