RHEL7使用GUI管理LVM

最近有朋友問我，在rhel6及以前的版本圖形化管理lvm都是使用system-config-lvm工具，但經過查找後，其實rhel7并不提供此工具。可用使用epel或者rhel6的system-config-lvm，但redhat不提供官方支援，也就是說，出了問題自己搞定

red hat enterprise linux 7 does not ship with an lvm gui utility.

it is possible to copy a red hat enterprise linux 6 version of system-config-lvm.rpm over to a red hat enterprise linux 7 system, however this is not supported by red hat.

system-config-lvm is also available specifically for red hat enterprise linux 7 through the red hat enterprise linux 7 epel repository, however this is also not supported by red hat, as red hat does not support epel packages.

alternately, the gnome-disks command will launch the gnome-disk-utility which supports some aspects of lvm, however red hat typically recommends using the command line to manage lvm over any gui utilities.

internal bug has been filed to correct the rhel 7 lvm administration product documentation.
