and we will all the pleasures prove
that valleys, groves, hills, and field,
woods, or steepy mountain yield.
做我夫妻，一起生活，

溪谷果園、田野廣闊，
森林丘陵、高山磅礴。
and we will sit upon the rocks,
seeing the shepherds feed their flocks,
by shallow rivers to whose falls
melodious birds sing madrigals.
你我相倚，坐在岩上，
觀看牧人, 羊群喂養，
淺溪潺潺，瀑布流淌，
歡快鳥兒，情歌歡唱。
and i will make thee beds of roses
and a thousand fragrant posies,
a cap of flowers, and a kirtle
embroidered all with leaves of myrtle;
我用玫瑰，為你做床，
花束點綴，千朵芬芳，
編頂花冠，再織裙裳，
繡滿綠葉，華桃金娘。
a gown made of the finest wool
which from our pretty lambs we pull;
fair lined slippers for the cold,
with buckles of the purest gold;
