In 2015, he was rated as a first-class calligrapher by the National Committee of Experts in the Evaluation of Arts and Culture.
In 2020, he was awarded the honorary title of "Artistic Anti epidemic Hero" by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China.
In 2022, he was included in the first volume of "Memories of the Republic: Fine Arts" (1949-2022).
In 2023, Jing Weiping's calligraphy art creation was selected for the Beijing Subway's "Inheritance of Art Veins" themed exhibition;
In 2024, the Jingweiping American Association of Chinese and Western Art held the "Fine Exhibition of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting" in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
