Wu Yunshi (Wu Jianguo), also known as Yunshi and Muran, was born in 1960 in Jingjiang City, Jiangsu Province. He studied at Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts and is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association and the Chinese Artists Association. He is a national first-class artist, a painter at the Chinese Modern Ink and Painting Academy, a researcher at the Han Ink Modern Ink and Painting Studio at Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts, the president of the Jingjiang Art Research Association, the director of the Yantai Dehao Art Museum, and the president of the Yunshixuan Calligraphy and Painting Academy. The work has participated in national exhibitions multiple times and has won numerous awards. The works have been exhibited at various museums, including the Wu Guanzhong Art Museum, Xuzhou Mining University Museum, Zibo Runhe Art Museum, Weihai Art Museum, and Jingjiang Art Museum. The works of Hou Shou have obtained national patents.
The works were exhibited at the "First Wang Xizhi Award National Calligraphy Exhibition", "First Sun Guoting Award National Cursive Calligraphy Exhibition", "First Tao Yuanming Award National Calligraphy Exhibition", and the 2014 Chinese painting "Autumn Rhyme Painting" won the Best Work Award at the "7th National Contemporary Famous Flower and Bird Painter Exhibition" organized by the Chinese Calligraphers Association. Flower and bird works have been exhibited at the National Exhibition for the 85th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China, the 14th National Flower and Bird Painting Exhibition, and calligraphy and painting works have been published in magazines such as the Chinese Political Consultative Conference Newspaper, Calligraphy Newspaper, Chinese Businessman, Treasure Appraisal, and Chinese Brand. Calligraphy works have been published in various media and have been collected by collectors in France, the United States, Australia, Russia, Japan, Hong Kong, and other places.
