（146）A Brave Man
Once there was a millionaire
who collected live alligators . He kept them in the pool in back of his mansion .The millionaire also had a beautiful daughter who was single.
One day, the millionaire decides to throw a huge party , and during the party he announces ，“My dear guests, I have aproposition to every man here. I will give one million dollars, or my daughter, to the man who can swim across this pool full of alligators and emerge unharmed！”As soon as he finished his last word, there was the sound of a large splash in the pool. The guy in the pool was swimming with all his strength,and the crowd began to cheer him on . Finally, he swam to the other side of the pool unharmed.
The millionaire was impressed. He said,“That was unbelievable! Great! I didn't think it could be done! Well, I must keep my promise. Do you want my daughter or the one million dollars? ”
The guy adjusted his breath and said," Listen, I don't want your money! I don't want your daughter either! I want to find the son of a bitch who pushed me into this! "
勇敢的人
從前有一個百萬富翁，他養了些活鳄魚，把它們放在自己莊園後面的池塘裡。這個百萬富翁還有一個漂亮的女兒，還沒結婚。
一天，這個百萬富翁決定舉辦一個盛大的晚會，在晚會上他宣布：“我親愛的客人們，我對在場的每個男士有個提議。如果有人能夠遊過這個滿是鳄魚的池塘，毫發無傷地上來，我就給他一百萬美元，或者把我的女兒給他！”他剛一說完，池塘裡就傳來一聲嘩啦的落水聲。那個落水的家夥奮力遊水，岸上的人群開始給他加油。最後，他遊到了對岸，沒有受傷。
這個百萬富翁很受感動。他說：“簡直難以置信！了不起！我還以為不會有人這麼做呢！好吧，我必須遵守諾言。你想要我的女兒還是一百萬美元？”那個家夥調整好呼吸，然後說：“聽着，我不想要你的錢！我也不想要你的女兒！我要找那個把我推下水的狗雜種！”
