賓語從句（ Object Clauses )
要點:
用作賓語的從句叫做賓語從句。
賓語從句的常用引導詞為： that , whether , if , what , who , whom , why . how ,
when . where , which 等，
例如：
He said that he would come .
I don ' t know whether / if you can help me .
Nobody knows what his new telephone number is .
I ' m sure that we ' ll win the match tomorrow .
注意事項：
1．引導詞 that 在口語和非正式語體中常可省略，
例如：
I hope ( that ) you ' ll get better soon .
He said ( that ) he bought the house in 2002.
2．若主句謂語動詞為一般現在時、現在完成時或将來時，從句的謂語動詞則根據動作發生或存在狀況的時間選用合适的時态，例如：
a，I want to tell
b，I have told
C，I will tell him ( that )
（a、b、c 句各可連接配接下列句子）:
I moved to Beijing last year .
I have already moved to Beijing .
I am in Beijing now .
I study at Beijing University .
I will go on a study trip to America .
3．若主句謂語動詞為一般過去時，從句的謂語動詞需視具體情況選用相應的過去時
一般過去時、過去将來時、過去進行時或過去完成時等，
例如：
Tom told me that he would have a birthday party .
Tom told me that he had invited a lot of his friends to his birthday party .
Tom told me that he was preparing for his birthday party .
Tom told me that everyone had a good time at his birthday party .
4．從句說明的是客觀真理或科學事實時，不管主句是何種時态，都用一般現在時，
The teacher told us that the earth moves around the sun .
5．由疑問詞引導的從句必須用陳述句語序，标點符号随主句，
例如：
He asked what the weather was like that day .（正）
He asked what was the weather like that day .(誤）
Do you know when the speech contest is going to take place ?( 正)
Do you know when is the speech contest going to take place ?（誤）
6.What' s the matter 作賓語從句時不必改變詞序，
例如：
He asked me what was the matter .（正）
He asked me what the matter was .（誤）
