4月21日，浙江省甯波市中級人民法院以故意殺人罪對美籍被告人沙迪德·阿蔔杜勒邁丁判處死刑。阿蔔杜勒邁丁是甯波工程學院的外教，2021年，他報複性殺害了21歲的中國女友陳某某。

A Chinese court sentenced an American citizen to death on Thursday for allegedly murdering his former girlfriend, state media reported.
據官方媒體報道，中國一家法院于周四以謀殺前女友的罪名判處一名美國公民死刑。
Shadeed Abdulmateen, who taught at the Ningbo University of Technology, was charged with the intentional homicide of a 21-year-old Chinese woman surnamed Chen, according to Chinese state media.
據中國官方媒體報道，甯波工程學院的外教沙迪德·阿蔔杜勒邁丁被指控故意殺害一名 21歲的中國女子陳某。
2019年初，被告人沙迪德·阿蔔杜勒邁丁與被害人陳某某（21歲）相識，謊稱自己離異單身，逐漸與其建立戀愛關系。自2021年5月中下旬開始，陳某某多次提出分手，阿蔔杜勒邁丁不同意并對陳某某進行言語威脅。
2021年6月，阿蔔杜勒邁丁與陳某某見面交談，用随身攜帶的折疊刀捅刺、切割陳某某頸部數刀，陳某某失去反抗能力後，又繼續戳刺其面部數刀，導緻陳某某大出血當場死亡！

After a disagreement over their breakup in June 2019, Abdulmateen arranged to meet and talk with Chen at a bus stop in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, before killing her with a "folding knife," said the Ningbo Intermediate People's Court in its verdict.
據甯波市中級人民法院判決，2019年6月，阿蔔杜勒邁丁與陳某分手，兩人發生分歧，阿蔔杜勒邁丁之後計劃在浙江省甯波市的一個公共汽車站與陳某見面交談，用一把“折疊刀”殺害了陳某。
The court held that the defendant's "premeditated revenge killing, stabbing and cutting Chen's face and neck several times, resulting in Chen's death, was motivated by vile motives, and the circumstances of the crime were particularly bad and the consequences particularly serious, and should be punished according to law."
法院認為，被告人“預謀報複殺人，捅刺陳某面部、頸部多刀，導緻陳某身亡，動機卑劣，犯罪情節特别惡劣，後果特别嚴重，應依法懲處。”
人大代表及各界群衆等二十餘人旁聽了案件宣判，法院也依法充分保障了被告人沙迪德·阿蔔杜勒邁丁的辯護、獲得翻譯、領事探視等各項訴訟權利。

Abdulmateen met the victim, identified only by her surname, Chen, in 2019 and entered into a romantic relationship with her. The trial was attended by more than 20 people, including government officials and members of the public.
阿蔔杜勒邁丁于2019年遇到了受害者陳某，與她建立了戀愛關系。政府官員和公衆等20餘人參加了庭審。
It said Abdulmateen had been provided with a defense, translation services and consular visits. A U.S. Embassy spokesperson said the Embassy was aware of the sentence and monitoring the situation, but for privacy reasons, could not offer further comment.
據稱，阿蔔杜勒邁丁的辯護、翻譯服務和領事探視權利得到了保障。美國大使館發言人表示，大使館清楚這一判決并正在跟進情況，但出于隐私原因無法做出進一步評論。
