Nina and Nora worked in the same office, and they were also neighbours. Nina was a careless girl, and she often lost things. Then she usually went to borrow many things from Nora.

Nora was a kind girl, but she sometimes got tired of lending things to her friend. One Sunday afternoon, Nina knocked at Nora’s front door. When Nora came to open it, Nina said to her, “Hello, Nora, please lend me a bag. I have lost mine. I am going to the shops, and I feel stupid when I haven’t got anything in my hand.”

Nora laughed and answered, “Well, Nina, go down to the end of my garden. You will find a nice wheelbarrow in the shelf there. Take that when you go to the shops. Then you will have something in both of your hands.”
