The Audi Motorsport R&D Center in Neuburg is currently being expanded. The new building covers an area of approximately 3,000 square meters and is equipped with a new test bench for the development of the power unit. The expansion has now officially begun. The Neuburg R&D Center is currently building complete power units for the F1 project, including an energy recovery system, electric motor, battery, high-efficiency combustion engine and transmission. The system will have about 50% of its power driven by electricity.
