Ouyang Xiu, Zi YongShu, drunkard and Liuyi resident, was a native of Yongfeng, Jizhou, a politician and writer of the Northern Song Dynasty, who was the first literary leader to create a generation of literary styles in the history of Song Dynasty literature. Ingi Prefecture originally belonged to it, and it was called "Luling Ouyang Xiu". He served as an official to Hanlin, a privy councillor, and a counselor in government affairs, and his nickname was Wen Zhong, and his descendants called him Duke WenZhong of Ouyang.
Later, later generations referred to Ouyang Xiu, Together with Han Yu, Liu Zongyuan and Su Shi, as the "Four Great Masters of the Ancient Articles". He and, Su Shi, 、、、、 are called "".
Ouyang Xiu was born in a humble background, when he was four years old, his father had died, and Ouyang Xiu was the only son in the family, so he was dependent on his mother Zheng Shi, and later the orphan and widow mother went to Suizhou to join Ouyang Xiu's uncle. The uncle's family is not very rich, fortunately, the mother Zheng is a lady, attaches great importance to the education of the child, no money to buy paper and pencil, she uses reeds as a pen, on the sand to teach Ouyang Xiu to read and write. This personal experience later became an allusion to the "Painting Hagi Godson". Ouyang Xiu's uncle was also very concerned about him, and finally did not let the childhood Ouyang Xiu lose his basic education.
At the age of twenty-two, Ouyang Xiu brought his own article to the article at that time, Xu Yan, who was appreciated by him, and was recommended to participate in the Guozijian Examination, ranking first twice.
At the age of twenty-four, Ouyang Xiu took the temple examination and finally won only fourteen places, which did not seem to belong to his normal level of play. At that time, the chief examiner Yan Shu believed that Ouyang Xiu failed to win the championship because he was too sharp, and the examiners wanted to frustrate his vigor and promote his success.
Indeed, in the TV series "Qing Ping Le", the chief examiner Yan Shu deliberately set a trap in the examination paper to screen out the real talented and practical readers. Of the many candidates, only Ouyang Xiu saw through the trap, so he was appreciated by Yan Shu and recommended him to Song Renzong.
Ouyang Xiu, who walked out of the examination room, was also quite confident, strolling idly in the street market.
He walked into the clothing store, asked for the most expensive robe, and inscribed the three words "Yuanyuan Robe" for the store. Because he is confident of his high school title and is determined to win.
Empress Liu, who was still alive at the time, heard that although Ouyang Xiu was brilliant in literature, his temperament was frivolous and wandering, and he liked to visit the Qinglou and write beautiful words on weekdays, so his impression of him was greatly reduced.
When several examiners and the emperor formulated the title, Yan Shu still strongly recommended Ouyang Xiu, and Song Renzong seemed to ignore it, and hand-picked another person to rank Ouyang Xiu to fourteen. First, grinding his sharpness, and second, it was also the protection of Ouyang Xiu.
In 1034, Ouyang Xiu Luoyang remained in Luoyang and was transferred to the guange school surveyor. In the year of his return to the Beijing Division, the great personnel reshuffle of the Great Song Dynasty began.
