More than 20 days have passed since the "global static management" in Shanghai began on April 1, how can artists record this unprecedented moment with the brush in their hands, record the truth of the texture of life, and present what they think during the closed period?
The Paper, Art Review (www.thepaper.cn) specially invited Shanghai art masters to record their awareness and perception of the epidemic with a paintbrush.
In the recent desk works of well-known oil painter Li Xiangyang, the daily still life is used as the object, and the unique brushstrokes, tones and emotions are used to express the perception of the present, which is evocative. As he put it: "The best look is the circle of friends." Ups and downs, peaks and loops, a living "Human World". The good and evil that have been dismantled, disturbed, and thus magnified, suddenly bring people to tears, shoot the case, and suddenly make your heart understand..."
It's been a month, and it seems like only one thing has been done, looking at the phone. Beg for a living on your phone, wait for a message on your phone, ask the world on your phone. Although not as scary as two years ago, the days of doing nothing are more difficult.
The best look is the circle of friends. Ups and downs, peaks and loops, a living "Human World". Those good and evil that have been dismantled, disturbed, and thus magnified, suddenly make people cry and shoot the case, and suddenly make you understand and endure. In the face of the sudden disaster, the people here are actually full of slang, harmonics and jokes, facing helplessness in a dashing manner, elegantly expressing stubbornness, golden sentences, talent bursting, telling the city's upbringing, rational and tolerant.
I am not Ma Liang, I don't believe that painting cakes can fill my hunger, and I am powerless to talk about fighting the epidemic. The only wish is to record these words in the way that I can, and to stay in the dark and bright, smiling and telling today.
