In recent years, Zhu Yaoxiong has taken on the heavy responsibility of inheriting and carrying forward Liang Jia Quan, and there are thousands of Liang Jia Quan enthusiasts in Wuyi area, and many overseas Chinese have spread the art of boxing overseas, so that Liang Jia Quan "blossoms inside the wall and incense outside the wall".

Tough Qigong fame moved twice

"In Taishan, when people who practice martial arts talk about Liang Tianzhu, they are accustomed to respectfully calling him Liang Gong." When Zhu Yaoxiong talked about the story of Liang Tianzhu, the master of Liang Jiaquan, he would have a little pride between his words.

According to the information provided by Zhu Yaoxiong, Liang Tianzhu was originally named Liang Tiangui, whose ancestral home was Luoding Sulongtanjing Township, Guangdong Province, and was born in Tangxiu Village, Shuiwen District, Cen Xi, Guangxi, and his legendary story and magical martial arts have been passed down in the two Cantonese folk. Liang Tianzhu began practicing a variety of southern boxing techniques with various famous teachers at the age of 7, and became famous at a young age. Later, he synthesized the essence of Hong, Liu, Cai, Li, Mo, Buddha and other martial arts, refined their offensive and defensive techniques, and finally founded Liang JiaQuan.

Liang Tianzhu's hard qigong is good, and after luck, he can be hammered by others, so he is known as "two Guangdong iron people". Legend has it that around the age of 50, he was sponsored by senior officials in Guangxi to represent Guangdong and Guangxi in the National Arts Competition held in Nanjing, and became famous in the competition between the heroes, and was named "Tianzhu" by chance, after which he changed his original name to Liang Tianzhu.

After reaching the age of fifty, Liang Tianzhu traveled around Liangguang to teach apprentices and practice medicine, and many people rushed to worship under him. Among them, at the end of the 1930s, Liang Tianzhu went to Beiliu Township, Taishan, Jiangmen, to open a martial arts hall, and taught many apprentices. As a result, the "seeds" of Liang Jiaquan were "planted" in Wuyi, Jiangmen. After 1949, Liang Tianzhu also opened the Mingdetang Infirmary in Taishan, Taishan. Because he has a chivalrous heart, when he encounters poverty and weakness, Liang Tianzhu often waives their medical expenses, so he is respected and loved by his neighbors, and his prestige is also known and admired by everyone in wuyi area.

Chuanyi Taishan spread overseas

Why does Liang Tianzhu "love" Taishan so much? Zhu Yaoxiong explained that since the 19th century, many villagers in Taishan have gone abroad to work hard. Leaving the hometown and being alone, it is inevitable to be bullied by outsiders; at the same time, the wealth sent back by overseas Chinese also makes the anniversary robbers coveted, and robbery occurs from time to time. In order to learn to protect themselves, the local people have hired martial arts masters to teach them fists and protect the safety of life and property, mainly with overseas Chinese funding. For a time, the heroes of Taishan gathered and opened the source of many martial arts sects in Jiangmen Wuyi, so Taishan was also known as the "hometown of martial arts".

Zhu Yaoxiong said that most of these masters who came to Taishan were mainly southern martial arts masters, among them, Liang Tianzhu's Liang Jiaquan martial art was highly respected because of its "good looks and practicality", so there were many disciples. "Because of the power of 'overseas Chinese', many martial arts schools can converge here and carry them outward." Since then, many overseas Chinese and Ethnic Chinese have brought Liang Jiaquan overseas. For example, one of his disciples, Chen Rongen, a native of Taishan Dajiang, went to Canada to teach art, and served as the honorary president of the Canadian Traditional Martial Arts Association, and also became a generation of masters. The inheritors represented by Chen Rongen, Lei Rensheng and Zhang Yongchao brought boxing to the rest of the world, took root and sprouted, and launched the name of traditional Chinese martial arts. Today, in the United States, Canada, Southeast Asia and other places, there are a large number of Liang jia kung fu enthusiasts and practitioners.

In Hong Kong and Macao, which is adjacent to Guangdong, Liang Jiaquan is also a group of cultivators. In 1978, Jackie Chan became famous with the movie "Serpentine Executioner", in which the source of the "snake-shaped executioner" move is rumored to be the Leung Family Fist practiced by the Descendants of the Leung clan in Hong Kong.

Leverage force to "fight big with small"

Zhu Yaoxiong, who is also a Taishan native, also loved boxing and practiced various kung fu when he was a teenager. In 1989, still a college student, he studied under Chen Rong'en, who was in his seventies, and used his vacation to learn Liang Jia Quan. Later, with the help of Chen Rongen, Zhu Yaoxiong went to the LiangJiaquan Association of Cen Xi City, Guangxi Province, to worship Liang Tianzhu's eldest grandson Liang Mainland as a teacher, and became the fourth generation of Liang Jiaquan's disciples. In 2004, taking on the heavy responsibility of inheriting and carrying forward Liang Jia Quan, Zhu Yaoxiong established the China Liang Jia Quan Jiangmen Martial Arts Museum and officially opened classes to the outside world. So far, his martial arts hall has had many points in Jiangmen.

Speaking of why he finally focused on Liang Jiaquan, Zhu Yaoxiong explained: "Liang Jiaquan advocates 'learning martial arts before self-cultivation', 'five laws' correspond to the 'five elements', and its spiritual connotation of 'yin and yang, swallowing and floating', coincides with the philosophical ideas he pursues. ”

"Liang Jiaquan pays attention to the five methods of heart, eyes, body, hands, and steps, and makes good use of company, heel, change, move, attack and other moves such as soft kegang and force. So don't look at me as tall and not strong, but it is effortless to compete with people who are more than 1.80 meters tall and weigh more than 160 pounds. ”

Steady and practical is very rewarding

It is reported that in addition to Taishan, Jiangmen Pengjiang also had the second and third generations of disciples of Liang Jiaquan come to teach apprentices, so the development of Liang Jiaquan has a deep foundation in Jiangmen so far. At present, there are thousands of Liangjiaquan enthusiasts in wuyi area. Zhu Yaoxiong said that like other types of boxing, with the gradual decline of the domestic practice of martial arts, the inheritance of Liang Jiaquan in China is also facing difficulties, fortunately, Liang Jiaquan is practical, advocates steady and steady fighting, and rarely has high difficult moves, so there is relatively little resistance in promoting and recruiting apprentices.
