学英语，应该多做阅读。对于英语零基础和儿童，读英语小故事，再适合不过了。通过简单的故事，能增加词汇量，培养英语语感。但是，绘本故事如果没有老师领读，效果就很差了。为了解决同学们的这个困惑，我专门制作了《英语故事跟我读》的专栏课，每个故事详细讲一遍，再领读三遍，定期发布英语小故事。让英语学习寓教于乐。

<h1>The lion and the mouse. 狮子和老鼠</h1>
There was a lion in the forest.
森林里住着一只狮子。
He was very large and strong.
狮子很大，也很强壮。
One day, a mouse walked by and woke the lion up.
有一天，一只老鼠从狮子旁边经过。吵醒了正在睡觉的狮子。
The lion was angry and wanted to eat the mouse.
狮子很生气，想吃了这只老鼠。
"Please don't eat me."
"请不要吃我。"
"I can help you some day. " said the mouse quietly.
"有一天我会帮助你的。" 老鼠悄悄地说道。
"You are so small and weak! how can you help me?" laughed the lion loudly.
"你这么弱小！你怎么帮助我？" 狮子大声地笑道。
Then, he let the mouse go.
然后，狮子放走了老鼠。
The next day, two men caught the lion with a large net.
第二天，两个男人用一张大网捉住了狮子。
The lion bit the net with his sharp teeth, but that did not help.
狮子用它锋利的牙齿想咬破网，但是没有起到作用。
"How can I get out?" asked the lion sadly.
"我怎么才能逃出去呢？” 狮子悲伤地问道。
Just then, the mouse saw the lion.
就在这个时候，老鼠看见了狮子。
I can help you. He said.
我能帮助你。老鼠说道。
Soon, the mouse made a big hole in the net with his teeth.
不一会，老鼠用牙齿咬出了一个大洞。
The lion got out. “Thank you！” said the lion happily.
狮子逃了出来。“非常感谢你！”，狮子开心地说。
From then on, the lion and the mouse became good friends.
从那以后，狮子和老鼠就成为了好朋友。
