对转基因需要高度谨慎。生命绝不是物质机械的组合，生命是有灵魂的，是有灵性的。在灵魂和灵性方面，转基因技术还没有很好解决这个问题。
一个生命，就是一个宇宙。一粒种子，也是一个宇宙。在生命的种子里，宇宙大道就蕴藏在里面，人类的认识可以接近这个大道，但并不能完全掌握，这是由人类的有限性天然限定的。
大自然是最美的，大自然自身是按照最优的原则不断进化自身的，敬畏自然顺应自然是人类最好的选择，尤其对有灵魂灵性的生命现象，更需要有敬畏意识。
物质实验可以重复进行，或可以按可逆的方式进行。但生命成长现象往往是不可逆的，生命不可能会重复进行，或按可逆的方式成长。所以，对生命种子在基因层面的改造，一定要高度谨慎。一旦出现问题，就是大问题，要返回就很困难，或者不可能。
