Ode to the Spring Festival in the Year of the Dragon (Six Poems)
1）
立春
Spring Begins
立春时节阳气升，
As spring begins, the Yang energy rises
万物复苏绿意浓。
All things revive with a strong green hue
花开花落皆自在，
Flowers bloom and fall in a free and easy way
生命轮回又一冬。
Another cycle of life is about to begin
2）
除夕
New Year’s Eve
烟花爆竹贺新年，
Firecrackers are set off to celebrate the Spring Festival
阖家团圆共欢颜。
The whole family gathers together, happy and cheerful
佳肴美酒笑声朗，
With good wine and delicacies, laughter fills the air
共度除夕话家常。
We spend New Year's Eve together, chitchatting

元日

爆竹声中一岁除，
Amid the din of firecrackers, we say goodbye to the old year
春风送暖入屠苏。
Spring breezes bring warmth to help the wine mature
千门万户曈曈日，
The rising sun sheds light on thousands of households
总把新桃换旧符。
Peach wood charms are renewed to ward off evil spirits
注释
①除：更新
②屠苏：一种药酒；屠苏就是紫苏，用紫苏泡的酒叫屠苏酒。
③曈曈：明亮的(bright)
④桃符：古代在大门上挂的两块画着门神或题着门神名字的桃木板，认为能避邪；后来在上面贴着春联，因此借指春联。

新年寄语
New Year's Message
匆匆岁月箭离弦，
Time flies like arrows flying
往事悠悠似涌泉。
The past gushes out like a spring
欲得难求唯挚友，
What’s hard to find is confidants
挽留不住是华年。
What can’t be retained is youth
几多傻话留心底，
What’s kept in mind is silly words
无限真情在眼前。
Infinite affection emerges before the eyes
海角飞鸿传祝语，
Sincere blessings come from afar
刷屏微信寄缠绵。

龙飞凤舞贺新年，
