China is expected to achieve this year's economic growth target of around 5 percent, with the growth in the second quarter to surpass that in the first quarter, Chinese Premier Li Qiang said on Tuesday.

Li made the remarks when addressing the opening of the 14th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, also known as the Summer Davos, in north China's Tianjin Municipality.

Having gone through the twists and turns of economic globalization, all countries should cherish openness and cooperation, as well as peace and stability, more in the wake of experiencing anxiety caused by conflicts and instability.

Li warned against overstretching the concept of the so-called "de-risking," or turning it into a political or ideological tool.

He called on the international community to firmly oppose the politicization of economic and trade issues and jointly maintain the stability and unimpeded flow of global industrial and supply chains, so that the fruits of economic globalization can benefit different countries and people in a more equitable manner.

Li said that China stands ready to unswervingly uphold the market economy and support free trade to steer the world economy toward a more inclusive, resilient and sustainable future.

About 1,500 participants from business, government, civil society, international organizations and academia have gathered in Tianjin for the Summer Davos after a three-year hiatus of the in-person event due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sessions of this year's Summer Davos will address the latest issues on the global agenda - global debt explosion, financial stability, climate action - with systemic relevance for Asia and the rest of the world, as well as the latest innovative technologies with the potential to transform the world, such as generative AI, plant sensors, care tech, batteries and EVs.

At a separate meeting of the forum, Zhang Yuzhuo, chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, said the country has witnessed some positive signs for a strong recovery on both the demand and supply sides.

China has maintained a steady economic recovery this year against the backdrop of multiple global challenges, and the growth is set to accelerate in the second quarter, Zhang said.

While it is generally believed that China's economic recovery helped boost confidence in the global economy, Zhang also warned of challenges relating to fields such as the lower-than-expected growth in foreign trade.

李强指出，当今世界缺的是交流、而不是隔阂，缺的是合作、而不是对抗，缺的是开放、而不是封闭，缺的是和平、而不是冲突。我们要共同落实全球发展倡议、全球安全倡议、全球文明倡议，更好地在历史前进的逻辑中前进、在时代发展的潮流中发展，努力建设一个更加美好的世界。

李强表示，过去十年里，中国一直是世界经济稳定增长的重要动力源，为促进国际自由贸易、稳定世界经济增长发挥了重要“压舱石”的作用。未来更长时间里，中国将继续为世界经济复苏和增长提供强大动能，也为各国投资者提供互利共赢的合作机遇。

李强强调，这次年会以“企业家精神：世界经济驱动力”为主题，具有很强的现实针对性。我们愿与各国企业家一道，坚定支持经济全球化，坚定维护市场经济，坚定支持自由贸易，引领世界经济迈向更加普惠、更有韧性、更可持续的未来。

此外，在夏季达沃斯论坛“直面挑战：在脆弱的环境中重启增长”对话环节，国务院国资委主任张玉卓表示，今年以来中国经济增长恢复态势是好的。从目前的消费情况来看，增长在逐步恢复，社会零售总额增长了9.3%。从供应的供给的角度来说，一些新的技术和新的产品增长速度是比较快的，比如新能源汽车，前5个月增长在50%以上。

“中国经济的恢复进程也为世界经济复苏提振了信心。”张玉卓说，但是也应该看到中国经济增长还面临着不少的挑战，主要表现在，从外贸来看，增长不及预期，“全球贸易增长前5个月的情况也不是非常乐观，这跟很多因素有关系。”消费方面，消费热点还不够多，整个消费领域的增长不是非常高；此外，一些新兴产业的“面”还不是足够大。

“我们特别希望通过世界经济论坛这样的交流平台，大家最大限度地凝聚共识来深化合作，以自身的确定性来应对全球经济的不确定性，共同为全球经济增长做贡献。”张玉卓强调。

• Yangzhou in East China's Jiangsu province removed restrictions on home transactions, said a notice published by the Yangzhou government on Sunday, which will be effective for a year starting July 1. People who buy properties for improved living conditions can sell their previous homes immediately, without having to wait for three years as was previously required, the notice said. Yangzhou's decision marks the first city to launch support for its housing market after the first adjustment to the loan prime rates in 10 months, and it was Yangzhou’s third housing policy easing this year.

  扬州取消楼市“双限”：6月25日，扬州市住建局经与市财政、税务、银保监和住房公积金管理中心等多部门会商，扬州自7月1日起将正式实施《关于促进市区房地产市场平稳健康发展的通知》，施行期1年，实施范围覆盖扬州全市。通知提出，在扬州市区购买改善性住房的，不再执行限购政策，其原有住房不再执行限售政策。除放开限购限售外，扬州本次政策还涉及提高公积金贷款额度、支持提取公积金付首付、发放购房补贴等需求端政策。

• Erenhot Port in North China's Inner Mongolia has logged over 1,500 China-Europe freight trains so far this year, the local railway authorities said on Monday, which has handled a total of 12,592 to date since the port launched its China-Europe freight train service in 2013. The Erenhot Port is the largest land port between China and Mongolia, through which 68 China-Europe freight train routes link China with more than 60 regions of over 10 countries, including Germany and Poland.

  二连浩特口岸出入境中欧班列突破1500列：6月26日上午，随着1289次中欧班列经二连浩特铁路口岸缓缓驶出国门，标志着中蒙最大陆路口岸——二连浩特铁路口岸出入境中欧班列今年正式突破1500列，同比增幅达21.2%。据介绍，该口岸目前共有68条中欧班列线路从二连浩特出入境，对外覆盖德国、波兰等10多个国家的60多个地区；国内涉及全国中欧班列大部分首发城市，集聚了天津、安徽、湖南等10余个省市的货源。截至目前，该口岸已累计开行12592列中欧班列。

• Guangdong Free Trade Zone (FTZ) topped its task of further improving connectivity with Hong Kong and Macao in terms of investment, trade, financing, legal services and mutual recognition of professional qualification, according to a recent priority list for China's FTZs during the 2023-2025 period by the Ministry of Commerce. Efforts should be made to specific financial platforms, including Guangzhou Futures Exchange and Greater Bay Area Bond Platform, aiming to serve the high-quality economic development and the Greater Bay Area. More specifically, Nansha Area is encouraged to beef up its sci-tech research and infrastructure efforts. Qianhai and Shekou Area will explore cooperation modes on legal services between the mainland and the two SARs, as well as to link China with foreign countries. Hengqin Area is scheduled to reinforce cooperation with Macao in civil affairs and speed up the Macau New Neighborhood project to facilitate Macao residents to live and work in the area.

  广东自贸区明确三年工作重点：近日，商务部印发《自贸试验区重点工作清单（2023-2025年）》中，广东自贸试验区重点工作清单明确，推进与港澳规则衔接、机制对接，深化与港澳在贸易、投资、金融、法律服务和职业资格互认等领域合作，促进内外贸法规制度衔接。推进广州期货交易所、大湾区债券平台、南沙国际金融岛、深港国际金融城等建设，依托现有交易场所开展农产品交易，打造服务经济高质量发展和粤港澳大湾区的重要金融平台。推进“大湾区组合港”“湾区一港通”建设，打造以南沙港、蛇口港为枢纽的一体化通关物流信息平台。具体来看，清单提出前海蛇口片区建设前海深港国际法务区，推动在前海设立粤港澳大湾区司法研究院，高标准建设前海国际人才港，支持建设具有深港现代服务业特色的综合保税区；高水平建设南沙科学城，加快推进一批世界一流研究型大学、科研机构和国家重大科技基础设施建设；横琴则加强与澳门社会民生合作，推动“澳门新街坊”项目建设，探索与澳门民生社会服务和社会保障体系的衔接。

• Chinese auto giant GAC Group stunned audiences at a recent event with the debut of GOVE, a flying vehicle that can travel both in the air and on the road. The auto has a split chassis design that allows it to be used either as an aircraft or a car, GAC said on Sunday. When driving on land the wings are retracted and the flight cabin and chassis stay combined. When flying the flight cabin separates from the chassis which remains parked on the ground.

• Chinese fast fashion retailer Shein recently unveiled a program named AcceleraShein to support 10,000 sellers to achieve USD1 million in annual sales over the next three years, offering a system of support from popular categories to all marketplace vendors, including training and upskilling, seller benefits and incentives, to help them achieve their business goals. The program will also help 100,000 small and mid-sized vendors achieve USD100,000 in annual sales and improve their competitiveness in the global market, the firm said Monday.

  SHEIN发布“希有引力”百万卖家计划：6月26日消息，继推出平台模式后，SHEIN公布“希有引力”百万卖家计划，拟在未来三年帮助全球10000个卖家的年销售额突破百万美元。据悉，SHEIN将重点从鞋包首饰、美容彩妆、家居用品、配饰、3C用品、运动产品、宠物配饰、创意文具等热招品类逐渐拓展至全品类卖家。SHEIN对于平台卖家也提供了全流程的培训体系。此外，为了进一步普惠中小卖家的发展，“希有引力”百万卖家计划也将帮助10万个中小卖家年销售额达到10万美元。

• Chinese joint venture Tongkun Petrochemical Indonesia has launched a USD8.6 billion petrochemical complex in North Kalimantan, Indonesia, according to an announcement released after the close of trading yesterday. The project, which is awaiting Chinese government approval, will produce 14.32 million metric tons of petrochemical products a year, and is expected to generate an average annual operating income of USD10.4 billion and an average after-tax profit of USD1.3 billion.

  桐昆股份拟投86亿美元印尼炼化一体化项目：6月26日晚间，涤纶长丝行业两大巨头新凤鸣与桐昆股份同时发布公告称，计划启动泰昆石化（印尼）有限公司印尼北加炼化一体化项目，项目含增值税筹资额（报批总投资）86.24亿美元。据估计，项目建成后，将实现年均营业收入104.38亿美元，年均税后利润13.28亿美元，税后财务内部收益率16.68%，税后投资回收期9年（含建设期4年）。据悉，该项目建设内容包括炼油及芳烃工艺装置、乙烯及下游装置和相关配套设施。

• Shares of ENN Natural Gas jumped after the firm said it has guaranteed its supply with Cheniere Energy, the leading liquefied natural gas provider in the United States. A Singaporean unit of ENN and Cheniere Marketing, a subsidiary of the American firm, penned a 20-year standing agreement for up to 1.8 million tons of LNG per year, ENN said in a statement yesterday. The contract starts in mid-2026 with an initial annual supply of 900,000 tons which is expected to rise after Cheniere Energy expands its Sabine Pass LNG terminal in Louisiana.

  新奥股份与切尼尔能源签署20年LNG购销协议：6月27日，新奥股份发布公告称，公司新加坡子公司与切尼尔能源签署了长期液化天然气（LNG）购销协议。根据协议，新奥股份新加坡子公司每年向切尼尔能源采购约180万吨LNG，其中约90万吨/年合同量将在卖方满足萨宾帕斯（Sabine Pass）扩建项目先决条件后生效，采购开始时间为2026年，为期20年，合同期限将随萨宾帕斯扩建项目投入商业运营后适当延长。采购价格与亨利中心（Henry Hub）基准价格挂钩。

• Shares of BYD fell after Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway sold about HKD676 million of stock in the fast-growing electric vehicle giant to have less than half of what the American investing legend used to in August. Berkshire Hathaway unloaded about 2.53 million H-shares for HKD266.85 apiece on average on June 19, cutting its holdings to 8.98 percent from 9.21 percent, according to bourse data disclosed yesterday.

  巴菲特又减持比亚迪：根据港交所6月26日披露的文件，巴菲特的伯克希尔哈撒韦公司6月19日以每股均价266.85港元售出253.25万股H股股份，价值约6.76亿港元。售出后，伯克希尔哈撒韦在比亚迪公司的最新持股数量为9860.31万股股份，持股比例由9.21%降至8.98%。据统计，自1月3日以来，其累计减持5472万股比亚迪H股。

• Chinese stocks ended with healthy gains on Tuesday as the yuan rebounded to 7.22 against the greenback. The benchmark Shanghai Composite gained 1.2 percent and the Shenzhen Component rose 1 percent. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index also climbed1.9 percent and the TECH index jumped 2.6 percent.

  A股港股反弹：周一A股三大股指震荡走高，截至收盘，沪指涨1.23%，深成指涨0.97%，创业板指涨0.26%。沪深两市全天成交额8411亿元，北向资金净卖出25.96亿元。人民币汇率止跌反弹，离岸人民币兑美元收复7.22。港股迎来久违的大涨行情，恒指止步五连跌收涨1.88%，恒生科技指数收涨2.57%。
