罗伯特·路易斯·斯蒂文森（Robert Louis Stevenson，1850—1894），苏格兰随笔作家、诗人、小说家和游记作家。他发表的儿童诗集《一个孩子的诗园》（A Child's Garden of Verses）充满着童趣，深受孩子们的喜欢。
Bed in Summer
夏日的床
In winter I get up at night
And dress by yellow candle-light.
In summer, quite the other way,
I have to go to bed by day.
I have to go to bed and see
The birds still hopping on the tree,
Or hear the grown-up people’s feet
Still going past me in the street.
And does it not seem hard to you,
When all the sky is clear and blue,
And I should like so much to play,
To have to go to bed by day?
夏日的床
冬日随夜起，伴烛静穿衣。
夏日不一样，白天床上躺。
床上度整日，只见鸟跃枝。
或听大人步，似与我相遇。
天晴碧空照，本该任我闹。
却叫床上度，可笑不可笑？
