UNLV Dining Speaking at F&B Session of TCA 210 Event Management Course at UNLV Hospitality College.

We were fortunate to have Wade Noon and Ailisha Vaughn from UNLV Dining team (Aramark) to speak in the F&B session of TCA 210 Event Management Course on March 7 (Tuesday).

Our students got to know the on-campus foodservice (Dining Commons, Student Union, Campus Catering), campus robotic delivery (via Grubhub and Starship Technologies), BobaRobo (Automated boba bar), JustBaked Bakery & Cafe (a smart bistro), event management, and donation to UNLV Food Pntry, Swipe Out Hunger working with a much larger University of Nevada-Las Vegas community.

International students could also start building their “on-campus” internship hours requirement (1,000 hours) at the arrival of their student life at UNLV. As you may know, I am a firm believer of better student’s living-learning community on-campus. I am also a practitioner for that. I am so happy to see UNLV Dining Service speaking at our Event Management course.

Lastly, but not least, I am also so happy to see the “shining” of our student, Timothy Park, working on-campus at Starbucks store at UNLV Student Union. He has amazing customer service & smile every time I observed his working on-campus. Cheers.
