However, shortly after the Western Zhou army left Xiqi City, they encountered the 36th Road to cut down Xiqi's men and horses, which were stationed on Jinjiling, the only way for the Western Zhou army to march east, and their commander was Kong Xuan, the former commander of Sanshanguan.
Although Kong Xuan was only a town commander under King Huan, he had the strength above the Great Luo Golden Immortal. When he received the edict from the King of Sui, he stationed his troops on Jinji Ridge, the purpose of which was to single-handedly block the pace of the Eastern Expedition of the Western Zhou army.
Of course, Kong Xuan also fully possessed this ability, and in the battle against the Western Zhou army, Kong Xuan relied on his divine ability "Five Colors of Divine Light" to successively take away many expository disciples and magic weapons, including Nezha and Lei Zhenzi. In addition, immortals with quasi-saintly strength, such as Lu Pressure and Burning Lamp, were also defeated by Kong Xuan's men, and if they did not have super escape skills, I believe it would be difficult to escape the fate of being taken away by Kong Xuan's five-color divine light.
Just when the immortals were worried about Kong Xuan, the Western Sect's Quasi-Ti Dao people rushed to the battlefield of the two armies, and with their powerful divine powers, forced Kong Xuan to appear in the original form of a peacock, and since then, Kong Xuan has become the mount of the Quasi-Ti Dao.
Kong Xuan's ability to defeat the land pressure and the burning lamp in succession shows that he also has quasi-saint strength, and compared with the land pressure and the burning lamp, Kong Xuan's cultivation will be higher. It is reasonable to say that Kong Xuan, who has such a cultivation behavior, should know the destiny of heaven and should choose to retreat bravely, but Kong Xuan chose to go against the sky and helped the abuse of soldiers to block Jinjiling. So, what is Kong Xuan's purpose in doing this?
In Tang Gu's view, Kong Xuan did this for two reasons:
The first is for gong, that is, Kong Xuan's duty; as a town commander under king Huan, Kong Xuan can be said to be loyal to king Huan, and after receiving the will of king Huan, he immediately sent troops to block Jinjiling. In the subsequent battles, Kong Xuan would scold anyone who encountered Shang Xuan's anti-subjects, such as: Jiang Ziya, Hong Jin, and Huang Feihu were all regarded as "reverse thieves" by Kong Xuan, which shows that although Kong Xuan was strong, he was loyal to Shang.
The second is for selfishness, that is, the personal grudge between Kong Xuan and the army of The Fallen; the reason why Shang Lu was conquered by the anti-king, there are two reasons, one is that the King of Shang is immoral, which makes the people of the world unhappy; the other is Fengming Qishan, Allah should be out of Xiqi;
Leaving aside for the time being, let's talk about Fengming Qishan, the "phoenix" here refers to the ancient divine beast Phoenix, which is said to be the protector of the Shang Dynasty, and Fengming Qishan, that is, the phoenix has abandoned the Shang Dynasty to protect Xiqi.
The original source of Fengming Qishan's words was what Nüwa Niangniang said, and the reason why Nüwa Niangniang wanted to say this sentence was because the King of Lu had molested her portrait, so Nuwa wanted to destroy the King of Lu's jiangshan, so she drove the Three Demons to chaos the Shang Dynasty, and at the same time, she also said where the next monarch was. And Jiang Ziya also persuaded Ji Chang, the king of Zhou Wen at the time, to rebel according to the phrase "Fengming Qishan".
As mentioned earlier, Kong Xuan's original form is a peacock, and the phoenix is the mother of the peacock, whether his mother has turned his back on Shang, Kong Xuan as a son naturally knows, therefore, Nuwa Niangniang and Jiang Ziya are rumors in the name of Kong Xuan's mother, for these people, Kong Xuan can't take the nuwa niangniang, so he will sprinkle all his anger on Jiang Ziya, so there is also a later Kong Xuan who violates the Mandate of Heaven to block Jinjiling.
These are the two reasons why Kong Xuanbing blocked Jinjiling, that is, for the sake of justice, Kong Xuan was loyal to the King of Sui; for selfishness, Kong Xuan wanted to seek justice for his mother Phoenix.
