On the afternoon of November 6, the Longgang Police Station of the Yandu Branch of the Yancheng Municipal Public Security Bureau successfully rescued a yellow-fronted closed-shell turtle.

At about 3 p.m. on the same day, the police of the Longgang Police Station of the Yandu Branch of the Yancheng City Public Security Bureau found a turtle during the patrol, suspecting that it was a protected animal, and immediately took a picture of the scene, and contacted the staff of the Agricultural and Rural Bureau of Yandu District of Yancheng City to ask experts to confirm.

After on-site confirmation by the staff, the turtle is a yellow-fronted closed-shell turtle, which was included in the "Roster of Aquatic Wild Animals under National Key Protection in China revised by the Ministry of Agriculture in 2000" - ‖ level protection. After that, the police handed over the yellow-fronted closed-shell turtle to the staff of the Agricultural and Rural Bureau of Yandu District for further treatment in accordance with relevant regulations.
