Official! The Series Sex and the City is confirmed to be rebooted, with the new drama tentatively titled "And just like that..."
Three of the show's four cast members, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristen Davis, will return, and Kim Caterol, who plays Samantha, will no longer star. The new drama will tell the life and friendship of three fashionable women in their 50s, Kelly, Miranda and Charlotte.
The romantic comedy Sex and the City premiered in 1998 and tells the story of four single women in Manhattan, New York. They are all successful in their careers, and although they are no longer young, they are still charming. In the city full of desire and temptation, they enjoy friendship while also looking for true love and home between the entanglement of lust. The series was developed into a six-season TV series, two movies, and became the "bible of mature women's love" that influenced a generation.
It is reported that the reboot version will be a limited series, a total of ten episodes, each half an hour, will be broadcast on the HBO MAX, is expected to start filming in New York later in the spring.
