Batum could accept a base salary from the veteran and play for the Clippers for another year

Nicholas Batum, who has been a strong player with the Clippers this season, may consider renewing a one-year low-priced contract with the Clippers on a veteran base salary or non-Bird terms, unless someone offers him a substantial offer, such as a multi-year mid-term contract, according to Hopshype.
