Tigers, Jan. 30 -- The Pelicans beat the Bucks 131-126 at home today, with Pelicans forward Cain Williamson starting 34 minutes and finishing 7-of-13 with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists.

After the game, williamson shot 58.5 percent of his first 40 career games, according to espn stats & info, and he shot the highest percentage in the league's history in the first 40 games of his career (more than 500 shots).

So far this season, Williamson has played in 16 games, averaging 23.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.06 steals in 33.1 minutes per game.
