Professor HuaiPing graduated from Haining No. 1 Middle School in 1990, is a national nuclear energy materials expert, currently committed to the research of cheap, safe, inexhaustible clean energy, and make unremitting efforts to let the world have a good ecological environment.
At the beginning of the lecture, Professor HuaiPing took the stage to the warm applause of the students, and slowly launched a lecture entitled "Illuminating the "Light" of the Microscopic World - Talking about the Road to Youth Becoming Talents". Professor Huaiping first narrowed the distance with "my path of study and growth" with "my master and brothers and sisters". He said that his growth path originated from Haining No. 1 Middle School, and he was very grateful to the mathematics teacher Zhang Chen at that time, it was Teacher Zhang who encouraged him not to be satisfied with the knowledge in the classroom, but to have the courage to explore better solutions and learn more knowledge, thus opening a door of continuous exploration for his path to study. Also remembered by him is the physical education teacher Lu Fukun, it is the encouragement and supervision of Teacher Lu that makes him insist on exercising and have a "revolutionary capital" - a strong physique. In this regard, he also put forward hopes to the students as a "master brother": strengthen exercise and create a good physique; have the courage to make breakthroughs and are not satisfied with textbook knowledge.
After three years of study in Haining No. 1 Middle and High School, Huai Ping was admitted to Shanghai Jiaotong University, and then worked at the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, becoming a well-known physicist in China. When the senior presented his own growth path in front of the students, everyone was extremely excited, and it also stimulated the strong desire of physics students to learn physics well.
Subsequently, Professor Huai Ping presented his beloved "X-ray that illuminates the microscopic world" to the students. The magical uses of x-rays made the students understand that light is not only a neon lamp to beautify the city, but also a weapon to change lives and benefit mankind. In this regard, the students were amazed, and further strengthened the students' determination to study well and contribute to the country.
At the end of the lecture, Professor Huai Ping kindly expressed his sincere wishes to a middle school student, saying: "China is in an exciting era, and basic and applied scientific research will certainly make great contributions to mankind! Great scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs will appear among you! Where there is a dream, there is a future! The audience erupted in thunderous applause!
After the lecture, Professor HuaiPing also had a friendly interaction with the students. The students wrote down the questions they had arising during the lecture and submitted them to the podium, and Professor HuaiPing gave serious answers. Some students who were good at painting immediately created a cartoon to give to Professor Huaiping; the student representative Zhang Yating presented flowers to Professor Huaiping to express their respect and gratitude to Professor Huaiping.
