Chen Si, director of Fudan University Library, believes that this commemorative exhibition is of great significance, on the one hand, these dazzling exhibits are the first relatively complete exhibition after the death of Mr. Xinfu, and are a grand event in the publishing and collection circles. On the other hand, Wang Xinfu's collection of books has survived several hardships and survived under the preservation of his disciple Xu Peng, former director of the Fudan University Library, Bao Zhenhu, former deputy director of the National Library, and Li Qing, a disciple of the Retransmission. Nowadays, Fudan University's research on literature is also deepening, and behind this commemorative exhibition is the hard work of several generations of scholars, which is a consolation for Wang Xinfu's later scholars to himself and generations of bibliophiles.

Wang Xinfu's academic symposium was also held in the Liberal Arts Library on the same day, and Yang Guanghui, executive vice president of the China Institute of Ancient Books Conservation, read out the written speech of Professor Li Qing of Kanazawa University in Japan. Li Qing believes that the holding of the commemorative exhibition reflects the affirmation of Wang Xinfu by Fudan University and relevant parties and the reflection on the disposal of Wang Xinfu's collection in history, and also proves the value of Wang Xinfu's academic career in life. In addition to collecting, appreciating, exhibiting, copying and publishing Mr. Wang's works, we should do more, showing newer and higher goals and pursuits.

Lu Dadong of the China Academy of Art pointed out that the Self-Use Seal of Wang Xinfu carved by Zou Mengchan, Dao Xiong, Kang Weiqi, Hu Zhaozhou and others not only showed unique aesthetic value, but also showed Wang Xinfu's own aesthetic needs for seals and the humanistic exchanges of that year. Zhang Xianguang of Shanghai Shiwai Education Group introduced Mr. Wang Xinfu's ancestral achievements in scripture and chapters, and believed that Wang Xinfu was a collector, preserver, arranger and disseminator of Shimen documents, and it was precisely because of his spirit of cherishing the ancients, willing to continue his life for ancient books and regarding them as a lifelong cause, that this precious collection of books was passed down to the world, and only later generations could understand his great achievements through these books.

It is reported that the Ming and Yong calendar engravings and blue printed books including the List of China's National Precious Ancient Books of the Shanghai Book Company were also exhibited at this commemorative exhibition.
