In fact, the term Gege has been played badly by today's film and television dramas, and it has also caused many misunderstandings, believing that only the emperor's daughter is called Gege.
In the real situation, Gege is only the title of the Qing Dynasty nobles, and all girls born in Manchu nobles can be called Gege, but their ranks are different, so Gege is very much in the Qing Dynasty.

According to historical records, there were seven Gege in the last dynasty, and the marriage of these seven Gege was also half free and half bound, because they still lived in the imperial palace for 12 years after the fall of the Qing Dynasty, and some older Gege could not avoid being bound and reaching the necessary marriages.
