Over the past thirty years, through the dynasties of Shizu, Chengzong, Wuzong, Renzong, Yingzong, and Wenzong, he has successively served as the inspector of imperial history, the Hanlin attendant, and the Rebbe Shangshu. After his death, he was posthumously honored as the Duke of Binguo (滨国公), with the posthumous title of "Wen Zhong". It can be said that before the birth of the glorious glory, behind the mourning of the glory.
As a feudal minister, could there be a better ending than that? Zhang Yanghao should be able to look at his eyes with peace of mind and smile at Jiuquan, right?

In the first month of the second year of the Yuanwen Emperor's calendar, there was a great drought in Shaanxi, and the people did not have a good life. The imperial court ordered Zhang Yanghao to be the governor of Taichung in Shaanxi. In February of that year, Zhang Yanghao, who was already sixty years old, resolutely traveled west after receiving an appointment in his hometown of Jinan. During the four months he became an official in Shaanxi, Zhang Yanghao lived in the official palace and did not return home. During the day, we help the victims of the disaster, and at night we pray for blessings and rain. When he heard that some people had killed their sons in order to save grain and support their mothers, Zhang Yanghao wept bitterly and took out his own money to help the family. Long-term fatigue finally dragged down the old man, and in July of the same year, Zhang Yanghao "couldn't get sick" and died of illness at the age of sixty.
More than six hundred years later, when I read these words in the "Biography of Zhang Yanghao in the History of Yuan", I couldn't help but think that until the last moment of his life, Zhang Yanghao may still be thinking about the victims of famine.
Mengziyun "The people are precious, the society is secondary, and the king is light." Zhang Yanghao has been practicing Mencius's political ideas with his own actions all his life, and the people-oriented thought is the most dazzling light of humanity in him.
