DC universe's new drama "Swamp Thing" is about to be launched, and the official recently released a set of fresh stills from the premiere episode of the show, including the male protagonist "Swamp Monster" after "transformation". Like Titans and Doom Patrol, the show will continue to take the mature route, but the difference is that it is closer to the Gothic horror aesthetic.
The official synopsis of "Swamp Thing" is as follows: Abby, an investigator from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, comes to a small town in Louisiana to investigate what appears to be a deadly virus from the swamp. However, she soon discovered that the swamp contained many mysterious and terrible secrets. When unexplained and chilling horror emerges from the wetlands, no one is absolutely safe.
Crystal Reed, who plays sofia falcone in Gotham, will play the heroine Abby; Andy Bean, who plays Greg in Powers, plays the male protagonist Alec; derek, who plays the kree captain in agents of s.h.i.e.l.d. mears) will play the "swamp monster" after the male protagonist "transformed" in the play.
Leonardo Nam from Westworld has also confirmed his participation in the show, in which he will play Harlan Edwards from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, who will be the right-hand man of the heroine Abby Arcane. The character is set to be gay and is aby second in command.
