Historical figures | Zhou Zhiqun The deputy commander of the 6th Army went to Burma to fight

Zhou Zhiqun (1898-1948), a native of Sansui County, Guizhou Province, graduated from Sansui Chengguan Primary School and graduated from the second phase of the Guizhou Army Lecture Hall. Brigade Commander of the Independent Sixth Brigade, major general, in 1937. In the Battle of Nanchang in 1939, Zhou Zhiqun led his troops to annihilate more than 200 people of the 101st Division of the Japanese Army, and won valuable time for defending Changsha, Zhou Zhiqun was promoted to deputy commander of the 29th Army. In December 1941, the Chinese Expeditionary Force was formed, and Zhou Zhiqun served as the deputy commander of the 6th Army to fight in Burma.
