History
The Stafford Bull Terrier originated in England hundreds of years ago and was a hybrid of a bulldog and a Mastiff. In the early 19th century, dog fighting activities were very popular,
Bulldogs bred at that time were larger than the individuals we know today, and these large dogs were crossed with the ancestors of some small Native British Manchester Terriers. The offspring of the hybrid generally weigh between 13.61 and 20.41 kg, which is today's Stafford Bull Terrier. Around 1860, James Hincks crossed the old Bull Terrier, now known as the Stafford Bull Terrier, to produce a pure white English Bull Terrier, which was recognized by the British Kennel Club for the last 25 years of the 19th century, while the Stafford Bull Terrier was never allowed. In 1935, the British Kennel Club recognized the Stafford Bull Terrier, and its fanatics were able to hold a beauty pageant for it. Slowly, the Stafford Bull Terrier gradually developed into a mild-mannered dog breed, which made it a good pet and a very ornamental dog.
The Bull Terrier entered North America sometime in the mid-1880s. It has been bred to develop into a heavier, taller dog than the original. Today's Stafford Bull Terrier is representative of this breed. The Stafford Bull Terrier was officially recognized and registered with AKC on November 1, 1974. At the Akc Dog Show after March 5, 1975, it was divided into terrier groups in its regular dog show classification.

Morphological characteristics
