House cracks can be treated with grout reinforcement

author:Fortified home

Housing crack problem is one of the very common problems in the construction industry, there are many causes of crack problems, we commonly have temperature changes, changes in shrinkage performance, changes in settlement rate, thermal shock, etc., these reasons will cause large or small crack problems, the formation of cracks also requires time and process, if you can remedy it at the beginning of the formation of cracks, crack problems will not become more and more intense, the most commonly used method of repairing crack problems is crack grouting and reinforcement method. The following reinforcement home will take you to understand the crack grouting reinforcement treatment of the house.

First, building crack analysis

The reinforced concrete used in the building is formed after mixing, vibrating and maintaining different raw materials. From a microscopic point of view, concrete itself comes with crack work, but the focus is on how we should avoid cracks in buildings, especially for structurally unsafe cracks. General cracks can be divided into the following situations.

Structural cracks: cracks caused by the bearing situation of the building, related to the load of the building, and may be due to the insufficient bearing capacity of the building.

Non-structural cracks: Cracks caused by the deformation of building materials, such as temperature changes, thermal expansion and contraction of materials, and deformation caused by uneven foundations will directly lead to self-stress and cracks in the building structure, which in turn leads to stress relaxation.

Second, crack grouting slurry configuration

The required grouting liquid should be configured in a certain proportion in strict accordance with the construction requirements. Grouting requires the use of equipment such as grout tanks, gas storage tanks, and air compressors. You can also use the hand pressure pump and the slurry container, the hand pressure pump should be set with a pressure gauge, the inlet and outlet and other devices and the working pressure of the pump are not less than 0.2mpa.

Third, grouting construction precautions

1. Pressure grouting is the most critical step in crack grouting and reinforcement; Grouting should be poured sequentially from top to bottom or from one end to the other, never reversing the order. The pressure at grouting should be based on the actual crack conditions. After pouring the slurry into the grout tank before grouting, the feed inlet should be tightened in time, and the pipe joints should be checked, the gas storage tank outlet valve should be opened, and the slurry should be pushed into the slurry pipe with the help of compressed air, and then pressed into the gap through the mouth. Wait until the adjacent mouth is full of pulp, immediately plug with a stopper, and then jam the pulp pipe and pull out the mouth, and plug the filling mouth with a plug, replace the pulp pipe into the mouth of the original pulp, relax the pulp pipe to continue grouting, and so on, hole by hole, until the whole crack is filled.

2. The grouting nozzle should be set at both ends of the crack, where the horizontal seam and the vertical seam meet, where the crack bend is turned, and the distance between the mouth should be maintained when the seam width is less than 1mm; Maintain a distance of about 300 mm when the seam width is 1 = 5 mm; Maintain a distance of about 500mm when the seam width is 5-15mm.

3. Before grouting, crack repair glue should be used to wipe the gap of the wall surface leakage slurry. Remove the loose parts of the surface, and the empty drum on the muddy wall should be treated accordingly, and the cover should be re-erased and closed.

A comprehensive analysis of the cracks in the building and the reinforcement treatment in strict accordance with the construction process can not only save costs to a certain extent, but also maintain the original appearance of the building.
