However, because Ma Sicong has suffered from heart disease for many years, when he received the "Notice of Complete Rehabilitation of the Unjust Case" in 1985, he was already more than 70 years old and was not suitable for long-distance travel, so the time to return to China was pushed back and forth, but Ma Sicong was homesick and proposed to undergo surgery, changing the previous stable treatment method.
However, on May 20, 1987, Ma Sicong's operation failed, and he could not get off the operating bed, and he was still stressing when he died: "I am not sorry for the motherland." At that time, no one thought that Ma Sicong would die at this time, including Ma Sicong himself, so he did not leave a suicide note, so he passed away unexpectedly.
Ma Sicong was born in 1912, is a Native of Haifeng, Shanwei, Guangdong, his father Ma Yuhang and the influential figure Chen Jiongming are friends of the general corner, and later served as the director of the Department of Finance, but Ma Yuhang and his wife do not understand music, did not expect that his son Ma Sicong would become a musician in the future.
Ma Sicong embarked on the road of music, is influenced by the local drama music unique to Shanwei, at the age of 11 Ma Sicong followed his eldest brother to France, and then entered the Nancy Conservatory of Music, the Paris Conservatory to learn violin, 6 years later there was a change in the family, so he returned to China, but Ma Sicong did not give up his music, and he also has musical talent, with the title of "musical prodigy".
In 1931, Ma Sicong received official funding to study music in France again, and returned from his studies in the second year, serving as the dean of China's first modern "private music academy", performing in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Nanjing, Beijing, Hong Kong and other places, and also teaching at the Guangzhou Conservatory of Music and the Music Department of the School of Education of Central University.
In 1950, the children's song "Chinese Young Pioneer Team Song" composed by Guo Moruo and composed by Ma Sicong was sung in the north and south of the river, and in the 1950s and 1960s, almost all children would sing this song, but Ma Sicong ushered in the biggest change in his life and was labeled "bourgeois".

The "head" in Ma Sicong's heart is different from reality, on November 28, 1966, the rhythm of "Homesick Song" was gone, and it was changed to "Dongfang Hong", Ma Sicong was discouraged, and finally fled abroad with his wife.
However, in a foreign country, that wisp of nostalgia has always been wrapped around Ma Sicong's heart, composing works such as "Six Poems of Li Bai" and "Eight Poems of Tang Dynasty", and on the second day of the first half of 1985, Chinese mainland reporter came to interview Ma Sicong's feelings after being rehabilitated, and Ma Sicong sighed with great emotion: "Su Wu has been shepherding sheep for 19 years! ”
