Hua Chunying said that the context and merits of the relevant events are very clear. The EU's imposition of sanctions on relevant Chinese entities and individuals on the pretext of the so-called Xinjiang human rights issue based on lies and false information is an unreasonable provocation by the EU first, and China's legitimate and just response follows. The European side only allows itself to arbitrarily smear attacks, and even arbitrarily sanctions based on false information and lies, but does not allow the Chinese side to fight back, which is itself a double standard, a manifestation of bullying, hegemony and hypocrisy.
