Kawada's original anime "Fire Maru Sumo" reveals information about voice actors from members of the sumo wrestling department of Ōtakō High School.
The protagonist, Shio-no-Maru, is served by Abe-no-tō, the sumo minister, Nobu nobuyuki Koseki, is also played by Fukuji Ochiai, and Yuma Gojo, who meets FireMaru and enters the sumo wrestling department, is served by Kentaro Kumagaya. In addition, Chihiro Kunisaki of the former wrestling department, Hotaru Mitsuhashi, who has longed for the Fire Pill and entered the department, and Kirito Tsuji, who has been a relative and friend of Fire Maru since elementary school, are played by Takuya Sato, Stepmu Murase, and Takuto Terajima, respectively.
The TV anime "Fire Maru Sumo" is scheduled to begin airing in October this year, and new visual images depicting many animated characters are now being released.
"Fire Maru Sumo" tells the story of Shio-No-Maru, who was active in sumo wrestling in elementary school, but did not do anything due to his height disadvantage after entering junior high school. After entering high school, Fire Maru made a comeback and worked towards the highest level of sumo wrestling, Yokozuna.
