Robert Dusit, a 71-year-old New York billionaire, has been questioning his connection to bizarre cases such as the disappearance of his ex-wife and the killing of close family friends for more than 30 years, but he has never been convicted of it.
In 1982, Dusit's wife, Catherine, disappeared inexplicably and remains unaccounted for.
In 2000, Dusit's friend and crime writer Susan Bellman was killed in her home. A bullet shot into her head from behind. Bellman's father was a member of the Las Vegas gang. Before her death, she was preparing to be interrogated by New York City police about the disappearance of Duterte's wife. After Bellman's death, Dusit moved to Texas.
In 2001, Dusit's neighbor, Maurice Black, was killed and the body dismembered and discarded in the sea. Dusit was indicted and pleaded guilty, but was acquitted.
In 2010, the film "All good Things," based on Dusit's mystery, was released.
In 2015, HBO TV produced a six-episode documentary " New York Disaster Star " , about three mysterious murders related to Dusit. Before the final episode of the documentary aired, an accident changed the course of the whole event.
In the penultimate episode, a letter from Dusit to Bellman appears with a handwritten address. The address also appeared in an anonymous letter received by police after Bellman's murder. In that letter, the letter writer told police that there was a body in Belman's house. In the documentary, Duter said the letter received by the police could only come from the killer.
However, the handwritten address in both letters is almost identical, even misspellings (misspellings of Beverly Hills words).
The picture below shows the scene in the final episode of the "New York Disaster Star" documentary, with Dusit himself on the left and the documentary director on the right, who is showing his handwriting to Dusit for comparison. In the video, you can see the director's hand shaking. And Dusit also seemed incoherent in the face of the director's step-by-step questioning.
After this conversation, the shooting of the day ended, and the scene began to remove the lighting and other equipment. Dusit asked to go to the bathroom once. But he forgot that he was still wearing a portable microphone. In the shooting of the past few days, it can be seen that Dusit has the habit of talking to himself when he is alone. And this time is no exception. As the intern who was post-editing the recording listened to the footage for each live recording, he heard dusit's monologue: "Okay, you're caught... What exactly did I do? Of course, [I] killed them all. ”
The judge, who has tried one of Dusit's three murders, said: "His luck is surprisingly good when so many people investigate him and all of them fail. But, this time, I think his good fortune is over. The documentary, which originally described "unsolved murders," dramatically helped solve the case.

Prosecutors presented evidence of another 1971 disappearance in court: Around 1971, around the same time that Dusit was staying in Vermont, a female student at Matilda College was reported missing. Local police have always suspected that the disappearance was linked to Dusit, but have not gathered enough evidence to prosecute for more than four decades. For now, Vermont police have refused to disclose more details of the case to the media. After the hearing, Dusit continued to be held in a local psychiatric hospital in New Orleans.

Ouyang Bingqiang, who stressed from beginning to end that "I did not kill anyone, I was wronged", is a suspect in one of the top ten strange cases in Hong Kong, the "Happy Valley Cardboard Box Hidden Body Case".
On December 10, 1974, 16-year-old girl Bian Yuying took a tram to Happy Valley and went to Amey Ice Cream Company to borrow a phone, but then disappeared. On the 17th, the cleaning lady Lin Sister-in-law found Bian Yuying's naked body hidden in a TV box on the street.
In the police headquarters, Ouyang Bingqiang, who was on duty on the day of the crime and held the key to the door of the Anmei Ice Cream Company, after seeing the photos of the victims, said that he did not know the other party and had not seen her come to borrow a phone. He was released a few days later and returned to work at A.M.
However, in court, the prosecution provided scientific evidence that could indirectly prove that Ouyang Bingqiang committed a criminal offense without witnesses or the confessions of the parties:
Several of the clothing fibers on the deceased's body and nails were the same as those in the defendant's home, and the wire glue on the deceased's hair was also found in the defendant's workplace, and there were also fibrous hairs of the deceased in the workshop.
As the first murder case in Hong Kong that has no evidence and is purely scientifically proven, only 7 of the 269 fibers found by the police on the deceased's body matched Ouyang Bingqiang's clothing fibers. The fingerprints on the carton were not left by Ouyang Bingqiang; the fingerprints of the deceased, Bian Yuying, could not be found at the scene of the crime; the police could not find Bian Yuying's belongings.
In addition, there is no confession from the suspect, the motive and the process of committing the crime have always been a mystery, and some Hong Kong people have debated the outcome of the case.
In the 2012 release of "The Great Hunt", Wang Yuanyang, played by Wang Jiahui, has the shadow of the suspect in the Happy Valley cardboard box hiding case.
A more comprehensive reflection of the Happy Valley Cardboard Box Body Case was 1981's Ren Dahua's "Public Trial of Carton Hidden Corpses".
At the beginning of the film, the nocturnal girl is confronted with wolf insults, and the camera is full of violence and male hormones. Ou Bingqiang, played by Ren Dahua, actually controlled himself and closed the door when he broke the female tenant to change clothes. It seems to indicate that the murderer is someone else.
"You shook hands with Besir just now, didn't you?" Don't the pore cells on his hands just stay on your hands? Now you hold your words in your hand... Now you have Besir's hair cells on your words, and if you sleep with your wife tonight, you will spread the hair to her. So, what can be proved by scientific evidence? At least it's adultery, right? ”
The above passage is what Sir Chen said in the play to Sir Li, who firmly believes in "scientific verification". The logical reasoning of the objections to the emerging scientific forensic methods of the time can be seen.
The use of rats to extract confessions by police officers and the death of a car accident while important witness personnel were about to testify in court suggest that the truth of the case may have been concealed.
The film aims to question the injustice of the crime of "scientific forensics" alone.
In prison, Ouyang Bingqiang has been studying hard, taking public examinations, and obtaining many certificates. On September 11, 2002, Ouyang Bingqiang was released, changed his name and surname, and resumed his life.
In the face of the reporters' most concerned question, "Did you ever kill anyone back then?" Ouyang Bingqiang only calmly replied to this question: "This case has come to an end, and I don't want to mention it again in my lifetime." ”

The victim of the "Black Dahlia" massacre, Elizabeth Ann Short, nicknamed "Betty" or "Beth". At the end of 1945, her boyfriend Gordon died in a plane crash. At the same time that she lost her lover, a movie called "Blue Dahlia" was released, and people around her began to call Betty "Black Dahlia" because of her black attire (wearing black underwear, panties, outerwear, skirts, stockings, black shoes, and even dyed her hair black, and wearing a cheap black ring). Since then, she has wandered the streets of Hollywood during the day, hoping to be discovered by scouts. Until her disappearance began on January 8, 1947, and until January 15, when her body was found, no one called the police.

In the follow-up investigation, the police received a text message from the murderer, which was supposed to turn himself in, but the murderer did not turn himself in as promised, unfortunately, the fingerprints or valuable clues of the murderer were not found in the letter.
Within a short period of time since the case was announced, 33 people turned themselves in to the police station, and the police have investigated thousands of potential suspects in detail, but in the end they have found nothing. The case became the most sensational case in the history of California after World War II. Betty— Elizabeth Ann Short— "The Black Dahlia," was eventually buried in a cemetery at which only six relatives and friends came to honor the 22-year-old, tragically ill-fated woman.

That same year, Retired Los Angeles Police Officer Steve made a surprising statement in his latest book, "The Black Dahlia's Avengers 2," showing that his long-dead father, surgeon George, was the killer of "Black Dahlia." It is reported that Steve stumbled upon two photos while sorting out his father's belongings. The woman in the photograph is none other than Elizabeth Ann Short. Shortly after Elizabeth's body was found, a newspaper received a note written by the killer himself, full of sarcasm.
