Although the unit price of fresh lotus flowers is not high, an average flower bud sells for about one piece. However, after the lotus flowers are picked, they will be sent back again in three or five days, they can be picked repeatedly, and they are sold out, and there is no problem of "storage", "transportation", "processing" and "sales" for farmers, if they can be carried out at the same time as the lotus poncho, then this is an "extra income".
Since 2003, local flower sales have been going on for more than a decade. With the continuous advancement of the current cold chain preservation technology, the current flower buds of lotus flowers can be preserved in cold storage for 15-20 days, which has created conditions for the local "lotus economy".
