Qiu Jianguo, former secretary of the Yihuang County CPC Committee in Jiangxi, fell from power.

According to the WeChat public account "Clean Jiangxi" on July 7, Qiu Jianguo, former secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Fuzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone, was suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and was designated by the Jiangxi Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission and the Provincial Supervision Commission to have jurisdiction, and is currently under disciplinary review and supervision and investigation by the Nanchang Municipal Discipline Inspection Commission and the Municipal Supervision Commission.

Qiu Jianguo, male, Han ethnicity, born in August 1959, from Southwest City, Jiangxi. From May 2006 to October 2010, Qiu Jianguo successively served as deputy secretary of the Yihuang County CPC Committee, acting county magistrate, county magistrate, and secretary of the county party committee, and from October 2010 to November 2011, he was to be arranged.

In 2010, affected by the demolition and self-immolation incident in Yihuang, Fuzhou, Qiu Jianguo, then secretary of the Yihuang County Party Committee, and Su Jianguo, the county magistrate, were dismissed from their posts.

According to public resumes, in November 2011, Qiu Jianguo made a comeback as deputy secretary of the party working committee and director of the management committee of the Fuzhou Jinchao Economic Development Zone. Since April 2013, he has successively served as deputy secretary, secretary, director of the management committee, researcher, second-level researcher and first-level researcher of fuzhou high-tech industrial park (now Fuzhou high-tech industrial development zone).

In September 2019, Qiu Jianguo retired.
