Espn reported today that restricted free agent Josh Hart is about to complete a contract extension with his old club Pelicans for $38 million over three years.
ESPN reporter Matt Williams reports that Hart is one of the league's best guard rebounders. Last season, he had a defensive rebounding rate of 23.4 percent, second among all players no taller than 1.98 meters tall, behind Russell Westbrook.
Hart averaged 28.7 minutes per game last season and can have 9.2 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists, and his average of 8.0 rebounds per game ranks second among all defenders in the league, also second only to Westbrook.
