Hong Kong movies as an indispensable part of Hong Kong culture, police films and martial arts films can also find the source of excavation, and martial arts films, but is a beautiful fairy tale that has always existed in our hearts, Hong Kong movies beat women in an endless stream, the early Yang Ziqiong, Hu Huizhong, Yang Lijing, can hold up a piece of the sky alone, the later period will also be broken, the recent Jiang Luxia, let people see the birth of a female star.

And who is the first generation of Chinese martial artists? Xiaobian today to introduce you to this, China's first generation of martial arts female stars, but also China's first generation of women, in fact, everyone watches the Hong Kong films of the 80s and 90s, often see a mother-in-law special cameo laughing or warm scenes, I don't know if you have any impression!
The younger generation may not know, the older generation must remember that in some film and television works, she once played the mother of Zhou Runfa, Zhou Xingchi, Zhang Guorong, Lu Liangwei, Lin Qingxia, Chung Chuhong, Liu Jialing, Ye Tong, she is China's first generation of action actresses, Hong Jinbao's grandmother Qian Xiangying.
Qian Xiangying (1909-2007), China's first generation of martial arts actresses, was born in Shanghai in 1909. Because of the superstition of her family, the fortune teller said that she would not live to be nine years old, and suggested that her family raise her as a boy, hedging her life style, plus she was less active, so Qian Xiangying dressed as a man when she was 8 years old, participated in the kung fu class of the Jingwu Sports Association, which gathered famous teachers from the north and south, and learned a kung fu. Qian Xiangying once said that at that time, Jingwu Sports would not accept girls, so she asked women to dress up as men until they were recognized during a urination. But Master was a very nice person, said she was smart, and let her continue to study.
In 1925, at the age of 16, she starred in films such as "South China Dream" and "Strange Man in the Love Field", because her family knew the film dealer, Qian Xiangying became the protagonist as soon as she entered the film industry, and soon became a well-known star. In 1927, the Chinese film industry began to popularize the "star system", and Qian Xiangying, along with Ruan Lingyu, Fan Xuepeng, Hu Die, Xu Qinfang, Xia Peizhen, Wu Frangxin and Wu Lizhu, was named the "Eight Stars of Shanghai" and became popular in the film industry. At the age of 21, she starred in "Jiangnan Girl" directed by Yang Xiaozhong, in which she played with guns and sticks, and as a result, she became popular throughout Southeast Asia, known as "China's first female hero" and "China's first generation of beaten women". Qian Xiangying has been active in the Shanghai film industry for ten years and has filmed more than 40 plays.
Qian Xiangying later married director Hong Ji (also known as Hong Zhonghao, 1902-1963), who founded the Golden Dragon Company in Shanghai and produced many martial arts films, such as "Strange Man of the Night", "Woman on the Sea", "Wild Tower Strange Man" and so on. In the 1930s, Hong Ji came to Hong Kong at the invitation of Shaw's Shao Renmei to develop, and later established the South China Set, which vigorously opposed the public to use newcomers to shoot martial arts films, and the results were popular with the stars Lin Jiao (1923-2009) and Yu Suqiu (1928-2017).
Qian Xiangying gave birth to five men and two girls for Hongji, and in order to take care of the family, he also funded the opening of the "Chinese Drama Research Academy" in Zhanyuan, and sent his twins (Golden Dragon and Silver Dragon) and grandson Hong Jinbao, three uncles of similar age, to Yu Zhanyuan to study. Among them, Hong Jinbao became a member of the "Yuan" generation, which was later known as one of the "Seven Little Blessings" in the film industry.
It was not until the 1963s, when Qian's husband died and her children grew up, that she returned to cameo films, and Tsui Ke paid tribute to her in his 1995 work "Knife". After the comeback, Qian Xiangying can only play some supporting roles, but in the Hong Kong film circle everyone will call her a "Hong Mother", Qian Xiangying belongs to that kind of hall-level figure, Qi Xiaofu and so on have great respect for her, even Zhou Runfa, Zhou Xingchi, Jackie Chan must respect her three points, in the Chow Xingchi movie "Gamble Saint", in the elevator she beat Zhou Xingchi violently, although the role is not much, but it is definitely the most brilliant few minutes in "Gamble Saint", from here you can see Zhou Xingchi's respect for this old predecessor.
Qian Xiangying also played "Wu Qihua's mother" in "Lame Hao".
Played "Maggie Cheung's landlord" in "Fancy Years".
Zhou Xingchi's "Jigong" runs a dragon set.
She can be seen in many Hong Kong movies.
While few surviving sources mention her early action film career, she was very proud to say that her action movies in the 1930s and 40s were really played! Qian Xiangying once said in an interview that when she was filming "Burning red lotus temple", there was no "hanging Weiye" at that time, nor did she have the help of a stand-in, and she could only rely on her own hands to jump and shoot action shots like flying, and the action technology was well received at the time.
In 2007, the 98-year-old Qian Yiying passed away, and many Hong Kong filmmakers went to pay their respects. When the big director Wong Kar-wai commemorated Qian Xiangying, he said, "Mother Hong has witnessed a glorious page in the history of modern Chinese cinema in her life, and I am sorry to hear the news of her death, and in the days of cooperation with Mother Hong, I admire her enthusiasm and dedication to the film, she is a very optimistic elder, but also a very affectionate predecessor, we will always miss her."
Although Qian Xiangying has left the screen forever, every time she sees her figure again in Zhou Xingchi's "Gamble Saint" and "Jigong", she can't help but be remembered.
