Steve Carell admits to having a favorite child

Steve Carell admits he lied several times during a key issues section of the Allen Show.

But when he answered "yes" to having a favorite child, he sounded convincing. (Carell has two children with his wife, Nancy Carell, Elisabeth, born in 2001, and John, born in 2004.) )

The "Morning Show" actor first said his favorite job was "produce" before entering show business, and then quickly admitted that packaging fruit into plastic at the grocery store was "really not" his favorite.

"Is this a lie?" He joked.

His best beauty secret is "courage," and the word that best describes himself is: "This is Steve Carell."

When Carell and DeGeneres argue fiercely, she asks Carell, "Do you have a favorite child?"

He smiled and quickly replied "yes." No further explanation.

DeGeneres told him what he would bring to other people's homes when he went to visit them, and he was talking about vegetable dips and "chiropractic chips." When she urged him to advertise the super bowl if he named the brand, Carell quickly interrupted her with "ruffles."

While we don't know how he dressed up or what he was telling the truth, Carell said he didn't like high-rise jeans and liked kissing rocks in (get smart), which he said was "great."
