Lin Shao cat, formerly known as Lin Miaosheng, the word Yicheng, the milk name less cat. He was born in 1865 in a bamboo basket on Wandan Street, GangxiXiali, Fengshan County, Taiwan ( now Wanquan Village , Banden Township , Pingtung County ) , and later went to Ahou ( present-day Pingtung City , Pingtung County ) to run the "Jin Changmei" rice mill, while he also engaged in fish and meat trading in the local market.

Due to the good management, the Lin Shao cat family has slowly accumulated a certain wealth, because of its kind and kind personality, the locals often call it "Little Cat". Slowly, he gradually gained prestige in the local area and won the love and support of many people.

In 1895, the Qing government was forced to sign the treaty of Maguan, which humiliated the country after its defeat in the Sino-Japanese Sino-Japanese War, ceding the main island of Taiwan and the Penghu Islands to Japan.

Li Hongzhang signed the Treaty of Maguan on behalf of the Qing government

After the news spread to the island, the people of Taiwan were filled with indignation, and non-governmental figures rose up one after another to form anti-Japanese detachments to resist the arrival of the Japanese. Lin Shaomao even scattered his family wealth, vigorously recruited Minnan people and Hakka people to form a team of more than 1,000 people, and formed an anti-Japanese army of more than 2,000 people with 700 Paiwan ethnic groups. Liu Yongfu, a famous Qing Dynasty general who was then a great general in Taiwan, helped him and gave Lin Shaomao's team of artillery guns to jointly fight against the Japanese.

After the Japanese army came to Taiwan, the anti-Japanese contingent led by Lin Shaomao used flexible guerrilla tactics to strike at the Japanese from time to time, which greatly annoyed the Japanese.

Beginning in the second half of 1895, the Japanese bloodily suppressed anti-Japanese organizations in Taiwan, causing a number of massacres in succession (you can refer to my previous articles), and anti-Japanese activities fell into a low ebb. But the anti-Japanese movement did not stop for a moment.

At the end of 1895, Lin Shaomao temporarily hid his tracks and quietly returned to Ah Monkey's hometown, using the operation of a rice mill shop as a cover to secretly continue to engage in anti-Japanese activities. As a well-known local family, Lin Shaomao ostensibly interacted frequently with the Japanese gendarmes stationed in The Monkeys, and gradually gained the trust of the gendarmes. But in the dark, Lin Shaocat secretly contacted the scattered anti-Japanese forces everywhere.

He successively maintained close contact with Zheng Jisheng, Jian Dashi, Ke Tie and other rebel leaders who openly raised affairs and organized joint anti-Japanese activities. At the same time, the anti-Japanese backbone under his command was organized to constantly move around, collecting guns, ammunition and food for the rebels everywhere, and constantly engaging in sneak attacks to attack the Japanese army. For a long time, the Japanese garrison was restless and tired of being beaten.

The Japanese wanted to catch this Lin Shao cat but couldn't even see the shadow. Because of Lin Shaomao's anti-Japanese uprising, it was supported by the people of Li, who paid great attention to protecting his whereabouts.

However, there are exceptions to everything, and Lin Shaocat will also meet people who are unladylike.

The Japanese, who could not catch Lin Shao's cat, began to use shady tricks. They constantly recruited and bought off small anti-Japanese forces. But I never got the news of Lin Shaocat. So they resorted to bounty. There was also such a person who could not resist the temptation and sold Lin Shao cat.

This person is Lin Shaomao's close compatriot named Su Yunying. For his personal glory and wealth, he sold Lin Shaomao's whereabouts, kinship, accomplice leaders and family relations, and the roster of the anti-Japanese team to the Japanese.

Based on the information provided by the traitor Su Yunying, the Japanese army rounded up Lin Shaomao on the afternoon of May 31, 1902, just as Lin Shaomao was celebrating his mother's birthday. Lin Shaomao led the rebel army to resist to the death, and finally died of heroic battle because of the outnumbered crowd. At the same time, Lin Shaomao's family members, women and children, and hundreds of people from anti-Japanese organizations were killed.

On May 31, 1902, Lin Shaomao was killed by the Japanese army for Su Yunying's betrayal

Lin Shao cat left a thick page in history with blood and life.

The traitor Su Yunying, because he betrayed Lin Shaocat in exchange for a lot of wealth, was able to shade his descendants. Perhaps because he betrayed his friends in exchange for wealth, he felt uneasy in his heart, perhaps he also felt that he lacked the spirit of indomitability, he had no backbone but hoped that future generations would not be such a soft bone as him, and hoped that future generations could have the spirit of indomitability like Lin Shaocat and be able to prosper for a long time. So he named his grandson Su Zhenchang.

But ironically, where does this traitor know, how can a dog change to eating? His grandson is now doing something more than he has!
