On the morning of September 29, Gree Air Conditioning Luoyang Base welcomed the 3 millionth air conditioner successfully off the production line. This is since June this year, Luoyang Gree achieved the 1.5 millionth air conditioner off the production line, which lasted 3 months to run out of the "Luoyang Speed" again, and steadily stood on the 3 million units mark.
As the 13th air-conditioning production base in the global layout of Gree, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan and a total area of 1041 acres, it has started construction in December 2018 and successfully rolled off the production line by July 1, 2020, with a construction period of only 18 months, and the shortest construction cycle in the Gree production base.
Since the realization of the 1.5 millionth product off the production line in June this year, Luoyang Gree has firmly established the concept of "project is king", doubling the output in only 3 months, and its production scale has been expanding, and now it has launched 9 production teams of "four inside and five outside", driving nearly 3,000 people to work in the city, the industrial chain continues to lengthen, and the industrial agglomeration effect is obvious. In the face of fierce competition in the home appliance market, Luoyang Gree has continuously optimized the production of new models, the types of air conditioners have been continuously enriched, and Gree products have entered thousands of households.
According to the relevant person in charge of Gree Air Conditioning Luoyang Base, the black light factory of Luoyang Gree has been initially put into use. In terms of logistics warehousing, Luoyang Gree will create an integrated logistics distribution model, using the intelligent logistics mode of intelligent suspension chain, air logistics line, trackless AGV, belt line combination, accelerate the construction of air logistics ring line, and use supporting electronic three-dimensional warehouses to finally realize the unmanned distribution of materials and finished products in the workshop.
"It is expected that in the second half of this year, we will add a new set of teams to continuously expand production capacity, and promote the increase of best-selling models in the market such as multi-line and duct machines." According to the relevant person in charge of Gree Air Conditioning Luoyang Base, after the Luoyang Base is fully put into operation, it will further promote the industrial transformation of Luoyang and the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry, and accelerate the construction of a national advanced manufacturing base. ⑤
