At present, Corning has a China optical communication headquarters in Sichuan, and the display technology division is also cooperating with Rainbow Group in Chengdu to set up a joint venture factory to supply glass substrates to customers on the spot.
In April this year, Corning signed an investment agreement with the relevant departments of Mianyang City to invest in the construction of a glass substrate factory in Fucheng District, Mianyang City, to provide a stable supply of products to local customers. "In the next time, we will continue to explore the possibility of further deepening cooperation with local governments at all levels in Sichuan, hoping to continuously accelerate development in Sichuan." Li Fang said.
