In the future, citizens and tourists can go directly to Fudi and the newly opened green causeway from the east gate, north gate and Xixi paradise entrance and exit of Xixi Wetland.
The Green Causeway is one of the "three causeways" of Xixi Wetland, with a total length of more than 1600 meters and a width of 7 meters, which crosses the core protected area of Xixi Wetland and strings together the wetland ecological botanical garden and the main scientific research and popularization project of wetland ecology from west to east.
Prior to this, the areas where Xixi Wetland has been opened for free include Fudi, Xixi Sculpture Garden, Lotus Beach road section from Gaozhuang to Xixi Paradise, and parts of Hongyuan.
After the opening of the Green Causeway, the free ticket opening area of Xixi has increased from the original 2 square kilometers to 5.79 square kilometers, and the free-entry Huanxi Creek Greenway has reached 9.2 kilometers.

You can also check out the underwater sightseeing promenade, which is located in the wetland botanical garden next to the green causeway, which cannot be reached by scenic cruise ships and battery cars, and can only be reached on foot. It is 137 meters long, 3 meters wide, 2.1 meters high, and surrounded by 8 cm thick alec glass on both sides, which is currently the longest underwater ecological tourism corridor in China. Lotus Beach has built a very hidden bird watching building for tourists, and those who like to photograph birds should not miss it.

In addition, the green causeway (including Lotus Beach) area, there are restrictions on opening hours every day, and now the opening hours of autumn and winter (October 8 to March 31 of the following year) are 8:00-17:30, 17:00 is prohibited; spring and summer (April 1 to October 7) opening hours are: 7:30-18:30, and 18:00 is prohibited from entering the park.
